Two modes, one browser tab: a vase-mode container, or a Gridfinity drawer that fits your printer

OneWall builds two families of printable parts, live, with no account, no upload and no CAD. OneWall mode makes a tapered container printed as a single continuous wall — one perimeter, no seam, no infill. Gridfinity mode makes standard 42 mm-grid bins and the baseplates they drop into, and cuts an oversized baseplate into tiles that actually fit the build plate you own. Both modes export STL, STEP and 3MF, and both show you the printer bed on screen before you commit four hours of filament to a part that does not fit.

The Mode dropdown at the top of the control panel switches between them. The panel then shows only the folders that belong to the active mode; the Printer folder stays visible, because "will this come off my printer?" is a question about both.

Mode 1 — OneWall: a container printed in one continuous wall

A vase-mode print has one perimeter and no top, so it prints fast, uses little plastic, and shows every millimetre of the surface you designed. The shape is divided into three stacked sections. Set the section heights first, then shape each one.

Mode 2 — Gridfinity: bins and baseplates sized to your drawer, split to fit your printer

Gridfinity is a 42 mm modular grid: bins sit in baseplate sockets and stack on each other. OneWall generates both parts from the same math. The Part dropdown picks which one; the Style dropdown picks how it will be sliced — normal gives walls and a floor for ordinary slicing, lite gives a solid body for spiral vase mode.

Split to fit printeron / offCuts an oversized plate into tiles that fit the selected build plate. Cuts land on cell boundaries only — a split socket would hold nothing. The tiles butt back together seamlessly in the drawer.

Printer — check the fit before you press print, not after

Pick your machine under Printer → Build plate and the bed is drawn under the model to scale. Edge margin keeps parts away from clips and the purge line; Show plate on canvas hides the bed once you are done checking. Your printer missing from the list? Add printer… takes a name and a width × depth in mm and remembers it in this browser for next time.

Slicer settings that decide whether the print works

Four ways out

STL (engraved)You are going straight to a slicer. The signature is subtracted as real geometry, so the result stays a single solid and vase mode still works.
STEP (faceted)You want the part in CAD — Fusion, FreeCAD, SolidWorks.
3MF (mm, multi-part)You packed baseplate tiles onto build plates. One object per tile, millimetre-native, arrangement preserved.
Session (JSON)You want this exact design back later, or want to send every slider to someone else in one small file.

⚠ Slicer settings — required for the bottom signature

The @Amitkuzi engraving is one layer deep (0.2 mm). In your slicer set Bottom shell layers ≥ 2 (recommended: 3). With only 1 bottom shell layer the engraving punches through the floor and is visible from inside the bin. With 2+ bottom layers it's hidden inside the bottom and visible only when you flip the print over.

The OneWall code is released under Apache-2.0; the models you generate and publish are under CC BY 4.0 — remix freely, keep the attribution. Built with OpenSCAD, Three.js, lil-gui and three-bvh-csg. Every OneWall print carries the @Amitkuzi bottom signature (Gridfinity parts export clean, without it).
